Finally on the move this year now with lots of stuff in the works! There is a date booked out in Oshawa over at the shows page, also I will be playing guitar and Kerry will be drumming for our friends band, Christian D & the Hangovers, I also will be filling in on guitar for another local band Tennessee Voodoo Coupe (feat. 90’s Swing legend Big Rude Jake!), our previous full length self-titled album will soon be available along side our latest for download from iTunes, Napster, Amazon, and eMusic, AND we now have a Twitter page (see link above). Also there might be some copies left on Interpunk of two of our old albums when we had a bass player, go here to check it out!

Hello to the new year! Finally feeling human again after our raucous hard-drinking, hell-raising Australia/New Zealand tour this past Nov/Dec, Bon woulda been proud!
We got to work with lots o’ great people and a few not so great but such is the way when your D.I.Y.! Some of the great ones were Barfly Productions who helped pick up the slack for us when another “promoter” seemingly went insane on us! As well we were lent quite a hand from many great Aussie bands like the Chickenstones in Sydney, Manic Pistoleros in Melbourne, and so many more to name.
This year we will be plodding forward, not exactly sure in which direction but I’m already getting the playing itch again so keep your ears out for dates. As well you may find me playing a more permanent role on guitar in my friends’ band, Christian D & the Hangovers out of Toronto.
And lastly keep checking the online store for lots of new merch this year, shirts, stickers and maybe even a DVD.

Made it home from our U.S. tour just fine, Thanks so much to everyone who helped us in any way! Had a great time in some new places and really made an impact on a lot of new faces.
Playing a few shows around Ontario in the next month and then returning to Australia! In the meantime we are looking for good U.S. promoters and record label(s) to release our new album prior to booking our next U.S. tour. We wanna make this next one a BIG one....

New album is done and available for purchase in our shop section here and at gigs for now until we wrangle up a decent North American record deal. In related news an Aussie version of the new album with extra tracks/artwork will be available on Valenteen Records in Australia, scheduled for a Nov 1st release just before our tour starts. And speaking of our tour, it now extends to the western shores in Perth and all the way over to New Zealand, not to mention a show in Tasmania!
We’re off for a short U.S. tour and then back long enough for a Halloween show with the Matadors in London (Ontario).

Had a blast in Barrie last weekend, thanks to the lively crowd and thanks to the new band the Katacombes who totally kicked ass at their first ever gig!
FINALLY finished our album and should be ready by this Friday’s gig. We have called it ‘Songs for the Hanged Man’ and you can preview it temporarily at our myspace site, there are a few songs there and another page in our top friends devoted to the rest of the album’s tracks, 13 in total (we did however leave one off the page so you’ll have to buy the CD to hear it!)
Just spending our days preparing for our U.S. tour starting in a couple weeks, see you there!

Great Success in Montreal and Ottawa last month, thanks heaps to everyone who helped with booking, etc and for everyone coming out and making our Sunday Devil Racers show with Flipper great!
Be sure to make it out this Saturday (Jun 27) to the Christian D & the Hangovers show at the Kathedral, I will be sub-ing in on guitar again for them.
Just put 3 more songs in the can for our new album, things are rolling right along.
Also want to mention T.I.N.N., a new ‘punk’ sorta band I’m playing guitar in, also on drums is Dean from the Sick Needs, you can find them in our top friends on myspace. Our first gig is at Tomboo’s in Newmarket on August 8.
And finally getting some work done on the old Blue Special, rust may never die but it sure kills....

Just about done booking all our U.S. shows so if anyone has any interest in booking us please write ASAP!

Also started a new band doing rockabilly covers with Flipper (Gutter Demons, Matchless) from Montreal on bass. We have our first gig in Montreal on Sunday May 31 at L’Esco.
Thanks for the continued support and look for some ‘send-off’ shows in August before our U.S. tours in Toronto, Newmarket, & Barrie.

Thanks again to the amazing crowds in Barrie last month! Still busy writing and recording and booking our U.S. and Australia tours. If anyone in our path wants us to stop in their town, just write us and bug your local promoters, venues and bands!

Continuing on with our recent exposure push, we will be rocking the Foxx Lounge in Barrie again on Fri. Feb 27th as well as Toronto at the Bovine Sex Club tonight with Alistair Christl. Also started booking our U.S. and Australia tour already so if anyone’s interested in having us in either of those locales, you should contact us soon as slots are fillin’ up already!
New album is coming along fine, check out our myspace for a new track and come to our shows to hear more, we keep sneakin’ new ones into the lineup more and more every show!

Just jumped on the Rockabilly Tuesdays night on Feb. 17th at the Bovine Sex club in Toronto with Alistair Christl (who is awesome). I recommend buying his CD too, I listen to it all the time. Check him out at www.alistairchristl.com.

Great turnout the other night at the Caddy, thanks to the Evil Farm Children and all the regulars for braving the weather. Just scored a new gig in London, ON in the Cellar Lounge at the London Music Club for Valentine’s Day!

Happy New Year to all our friends and fans! Had a lot of fun freezing our asses off up in Barrie and rockin’ the night away for all the fine party-goers.
Big news in the Merch section, everything is on sale from 40-50% off, CHEAP! We need to clear out the closet so we can get some new stuff out for you’s in ’09!
